This water damage restoration involved an elderly couple who were managing a serious heart-related medical condition at the time of the loss.

The situation added significant stress, and the owners remained living in the unit throughout the restoration. We approached the work with added care, sensitivity, and respect, coordinating our schedule and methods to minimize disruption while maintaining a calm, predictable presence in the home.

The condominium is located within a beautifully restored historic mid-rise building. The original interior featured high-end finishes, custom cabinetry, and traditionally crafted, built-up trim assemblies with layered profiles, plinth blocks, and period-appropriate detailing. Matching this level of craftsmanship required custom fabrication. Trim profiles were reproduced by a specialty mill shop to accurately replicate the original plinth block and casing details.

Due to the building configuration, materials such as drywall had to be delivered by crane. The restoration included insulation, drywall installation, custom trim work requiring advanced finish carpentry skills, sourcing and installing a rare hardwood flooring pattern, full interior repainting, and updated light fixtures.

The project required technical precision and a thoughtful, human-centered approach. Our team focused on restoring the home with accuracy and care, returning it to its original character while supporting the owners through a difficult period.
